Professor Kenichi Soga of the University of California Berkeley, (UC Berkeley) USA visited the Faculty of Engineering, Yamaguchi University on 25th March 2023. Professor Soga is a prominent professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Associate Professor Azizul Moqsud who is a former visiting scholar of UC Berkeley organized this visit and mini symposium. There were research presentations from some of the professors of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and after that there were questions and discussion sessions. Professor Soga who is one of the pioneers in the field of modern Civil Engineering in the world gave valuable advice during the research presentations and willing to continue the research collaboration with Yamaguchi University in the future.
