Support for Japanese Language Learning on Yamaguchi University, Tokiwa Campus.<\/h4>\n

\n\t\t\tRegarding Japanese language learning, we have systems and services on the Tokiwa campus, as we explain in this page. If you have any questions or need consultation, please feel free to contact the International Student Center.<\/p>\n

1. Japanese language courses for international students offered on the Tokiwa Campus<\/h4>\n

We offer the following Japanese courses each semester. Courses begin in April and October, and the schedule for each semester will be available a few weeks before the courses start.\n\t\t<\/p>\n

1.1 Japanese Language Courses as foreign language subjects of general education’<\/h4>\n

From the upper-basic level to advanced level; four courses at all each semester.
\n\t\t\tUndergraduate international students can take these subjects as foreign language subjects of general education and earn credits towards their graduation. <\/p>\n

1.2 Timetable of Japanese Courses:<\/a><\/h4>\n

* The class will be given in Seminar Room 1, which is on the 1st F, West side of the Main Bldg. But it may be changed according to the number of the students.<\/p>\n

1.3 Japanese for Engineering Course<\/h4>\n

Advanced level; one course per semester; this subject is to provide useful techniques and knowledge of Japanese language to study engineering and to write academic paper in Japanese. It is possible for undergraduate students to earn credits
\n\t\t\tas a major subject.<\/p>\n

* About the subjects written above, the exchange students from partner institutions can earn credits also.<\/p>\n

1.4 Basic Japanese Course<\/h4>\n

Basic level; five subjects a week for fifteen weeks: Japanese\u2160, Japanese\u2160 Extra, Japanese\u2161, Japanese\u2161 Extra, and Japanese\u2162 Extra. “Extra” class is a non-credit course. This course will guide the students through the early stages of Japanese
\n\t\t\tlanguage acquisition, up to the lower basic level.<\/p>\n
