Professor Uchida who is an associate professor at the RPI<br \/>\n\t\t\thas the specialty in the field of energy geotechnics. However, he gave a lecture entitled \u2033 How to be a successful Civil and Environmental Engineer?\u2032 He gave example from his own life. After completing his Undergraduate in Japan, he obtained<br \/>\n\t\t\this M.Phil and Ph.D. from Cambridge University, UK and finally moved to New York, USA. He encouraged the students to be curious all the time and improve their communication skills and technical skills for the future. The whole lecture was full<br \/>\n\t\t\tof motivation and encouragement.
