Two FGSS students participated in the Spring Program at Hangzhou Normal University in China. This program, held from March 2 to March 16, 2025, provided students with opportunities to learn about Chinese language and culture through lectures, cultural experiences, and exchanges with local students.
One of the participating students shared the following reflection: “Some of the impressions I had before the trip changed during my time in China. I realized the importance of engaging with people as individuals, rather than viewing a county as a single, unified entity.
