The Faculty of Global and Science Studies (FGSS) at Yamaguchi University is pleased to announce that a collaborative project—joining expertise from Yamaguchi University, Waseda University, and Keio University and joined by Associate Professor Kazutoshi Sakaguchi—has been selected for the “FY2025 Space Human Resource Development Program” commissioned by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), Japan. This partnership is poised to foster innovative, human-centered approaches to living in space by leveraging the collective strengths of all three institutions. The project will focus on researching and developing human-centered design approaches to enhance comfort and well-being during space habitation.
