2024.05.14
A four-day lecture for high school students was held on March 25 (Monday), 26 (Tuesday), 28 (Thursday), and 29 (Friday), 2023.
The purpose of this course is to learn “multifaceted thinking” that delves deeply into the theme of “doors that do not open” from the perspectives of various specialized fields, in order to acquire the ability (wisdom) to contribute to society by utilizing it, rather than simply acquiring “knowledge”.
A total of 26 high school students and 13 students from the Faculty of Global and Science Studies participated in the seminar onsite, and a total of about 30 high school students, high school teachers, and students of the Faculty of Global Integrated Arts and Sciences attended the lecture online.
In addition to the lectures, activities included study abroad Q&A with current students, student life counseling, campus tours, board games, etc. The high school students who participated in the meeting gave positive comments, such as “They learned a lot”, “It was fun”, and “They wanted to take the entrance exam for the Faculty of Global and Science Studies”, making it a very meaningful time.
