Nursing Science
We all aspire to create a society where everyone can lead healthy and safe lives. Nursing professionals, who care for individuals at every level of health, are expected to actively contribute across a broad spectrum of healthcare and welfare initiatives. To meet these expectations, the Nursing Science Department is dedicated to developing the skills of nursing professionals in sound judgment and problem-solving, grounded in scientific principles. We emphasize the importance of flexible thinking and the ability to adapt to changing social contexts and advancements in medicine from an international perspective.
Our curriculum, which is designed to cater to various life cycles and living environments, includes diverse areas of nursing science such as home nursing science, public health nursing science, emergency nursing science, advanced medical nursing science, nursing genetics, and international nursing science. This curriculum is continuously evolving to keep pace with the times. All students are required to take the national qualifying examination for nursing and public health nursing.
Our ultimate goal is to nurture highly skilled nursing professionals who can actively engage in nursing practices, education, and research. This is achieved through mastering advanced expertise and technology, while also cultivating sensitivity, creativity, and ambition.
