On December 11, joint veterinary faculty of Yamaguchi University and Kagoshima University, VetJapan South※, acquired certification “first in Asia” from European Association of Establishments for Veterinary Education (EAEVE), which evaluates quality of veterinary education. For many years, we have been engaged in improving education system and catching up global standard education level. This year we applied certification and approved as “Accreditation Status” meaning fully accredited in European Committee of Veterinary Education (ECOVE).
Our achievement contributes to improvement and enrichment of veterinary education in all Japanese veterinary university and take the lead to development of Asian veterinary education and expertise veterinarians in trend of globalization of veterinary education lead by Western countries.
