第3回理学部講演会のお知らせ (2025年度)

地球圏システム科学科では、下記の内容の講演会を開催いたします。
多数ご参加いただきますよう、宜しくお願い申しあげます。
お昼休み時間に、FAVO１階多目的ルームで行いますので、ランチを食べながら話を聞いてください。

The Northwest Shelf of Australia – a continental margin with a long history
（Professor Chris Elders, Curtin University, Australia）

講師紹介

Chris Elders completed his BSc at the University of Oxford in 1983, and PhD, also at Oxford in 1987. After that he spent four years working for Shell in the Netherlands as an Exploration Geologist working on acreage in the Southern North Sea. In 1993 he moved to Royal Holloway, part of the University of London, where he ran a successful masters programme in Petroleum Geoscience. In 2013 he joined Curtin University as Professor of Petroleum Geoscience. and is now a semi-retired Emeritus Professor.

国際課題へのチャレンジで昨年、今年の担当の先生です。オンラインで見ていた方がリアルでお話してくれます。ロンドン大学にも在籍されていた国際的にも著名な方ですので、お話しておくと、地質学、地球物理学や天然資源に関して、未来へのコネクションが世界に広がります。
